At the tasting area of the Umbria Region stand, the protagonists were:<\/strong>
the DOC Amelia wines, the single-variety extra virgin olive oils Rajo, the Slow Food Presidium Cooked Fava Beans of Amerino, and other products from Amerino<\/strong><\/p>

Just concluded at the tasting area of the Umbria Region stand at Vinitaly in Verona<\/strong> was the tasting event<\/strong> where the wines, extra virgin olive oils, Slow Food Presidium Cooked Fava Beans of Amerino, and other products of Amerino Tipico<\/strong> were showcased and sampled.<\/p>

As part of the calendar of tastings and storytelling about Umbrian territories organized to promote the products and landscapes of Umbria, today, Monday, April 3rd, the tasting\/storytelling session titled “Territories of Trasimeno, Orvieto, and Amerino”<\/strong> took place. It featured some of the productions from the partners of “Amerino Tipico<\/strong>: Integrated Actions for the Territorial Food Strategy of the Amerino Landscape,” a project aimed at defining a territorial development and enhancement strategy focusing on food as a key element for territorial innovation.<\/strong> This project fosters cooperation between public and private entities in the territory, leading to the creation of the “Amerino\u00a9” brand as a driving force for the region itself.<\/p>

The protagonists of the tasting, narrated on stage by Flores Zanchi of Cantine Zanchi<\/a> in Amelia, included: crostini with Fava cott\u00f2ra<\/strong> of Amerino – a Slow Food Presidium<\/strong> by the Consorzio della Fava Cottora<\/a>; DOC Amelia wines<\/strong>, which are part of the territory traversed by the Etruscan-Roman Wine Road<\/a>, particularly Ciliegiolo and Malvasia<\/strong> from Cantine Zanchi<\/strong> and from new partner companies: Pizzo Gallo<\/strong> and Le Poggette<\/strong>.
Moreover, the tasting foods were paired with the single-variety extra virgin olive oil Rajo from Frantoio Suatoni<\/a> in Amelia.<\/strong><\/p>

Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 4th<\/strong>, will continue the moments that will give visibility to the products of the Amerino territory and the 11 municipalities involved in the project – Amelia, Alviano, Attigliano, Avigliano Umbro, Baschi, Giove, Guardea, Lugnano in Teverina, Montecastrilli, Montecchio, Penna in Teverina. In the afternoon, at 3:30 PM (HALL 2 – A9\/F9)<\/strong>, there will be a discussion on wine tourism and olive oil tourism titled “Manifesto for the development of Wine and Olive Oil Tourism in Umbria”<\/strong>, important themes on which the territory of the municipalities of the Amerino Tipico project is working, creating wine, oil, and product itineraries that will become real routes to explore, to discover the food and wine identity of this Umbrian territory.
The meeting, coordinated by Fabio Piccoli<\/strong>, journalist and editor-in-chief of Wine Meridian, will include contributions from the Movimento Turismo del Vino Umbria and the Strade del Vino e dell’Olio dell’Umbria, as well as representatives from the Institutions of the Umbria Region.
