\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tNot far from the Amerina Road and situated on a hill in the Tiber Valley lies Alviano. This village, with its medieval urban structure, is surrounded by defensive walls and preserves intact the imposing Castle that dominates the surrounding territory. It was built by Count Offredo, progenitor of the Alviano family, around 996, a family that during the Middle Ages, with the support of the Papal State, became one of the most influential in the area. The history of Alviano is closely linked to that of its most illustrious citizen: the condottiero Bartolomeo di Alviano, known as Liviano, one of the greatest condottieri and protagonists of the Renaissance, a prominent figure in the political and military environment.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
